This new feature gives you the flexibility to add, organize, and display multiple images for any Item in Design Manager. Whether you're showcasing different angles of a product or highlighting various design options, this feature enhances the process of specifying your Items. With this new feature you can:
Add multiple images to any Item effortlessly.
Drag-and-drop reordering to adjust image display sequence.
Primary image displayed prominently, with additional images as thumbnails.
Delete images easily with a confirmation prompt for security.
Available across key areas: Items and Proposals
To add multiple images to an Item, navigate to your Project and you can add a new Item or edit an existing Item. In the Item window, you can click on the Add Photo icon to load a picture from your computer or you can drag and drop a picture from your computer to the icon.
You can add up to 4 pictures to an Item. The first picture shown on the left is the main picture of the Item that will be displayed in your list of Items and on the Component.
You can adjust this by clicking on the picture and dragging the picture to the order you want.
When you add this Item to a Proposal, you can select the Proposal style to show all the pictures or just the main picture. When creating your Proposal click in the drop down field next to Style. These are the styles that will show the multiple images with your Item:
Modern w/Multi Images will show the main picture as the largest and the remaining 3 pictures slightly smaller under the main picture. You can see an example here
Tear Sheets will will show the main picture as the largest and the remaining 3 pictures slightly smaller under the main picture. The Tear Sheet style shows the Items name, description and pictures without any pricing information. These pictures will be larger than the Modern w/Multi Images. You can see an example here
Only the Proposal styles listed above will show the Items multiple images as Invoices do not have this style available.
Please Note: with this new feature, you may see your existing Items (added to Design Manager before October 23) shown with no picture even though you previously added a picture, don't fear, the picture is still there, you will just need to reset your internet browser (clear cookies) so that the new feature is updated with your existing picture.
