The DesignDashboard will show you comprehensive information about your business at your fingertips along with quick access to Projects and other features in Design Manager. It is the first page you come to when logging into Design Manager.

At the top of your Dashboard is your Business Summary which shows Open Proposals, Open Invoices, Overdue Invoices and Overdue Bills.

  • Open Proposals: Shows the total of all Proposals where no Deposit has been received and that have not been invoiced. The price is pulled from the Proposal itself so if changes were made to an Item on the Proposal and the Proposal was not edited to update the Item price, it would not be reflected in the Open Proposals amount.

  • Open Invoices: Shows the total balance of all Client Invoices that have not been paid in full. The amount shown here can be seen on the Aged Accounts Receivable report under Reporting.

  • Overdue Invoices: Shows the total balance of all Client Invoices that have not been paid in full after 30 days. This can also be seen on the Aged Accounts Receivable report after 30 days under Reporting.

  • Overdue Bills: Shows the total of all Expenses, Vendor Deposits and Vendor Invoices that have an unpaid balance. The amount shown here can be seen on the Aged Accounts Payable Report under Reporting.

The next section, Recent Projects, shows the last 5 Projects that had Items added, changed, or updated. At the top of this section to the right, you can add a Project by clicking on the +Add button and you can see a list of all your Projects by clicking on the View all button.

Within each Project tile you can quickly create an Item or Time Entry in the Project by clicking on the icons in top right. You can also open the Project by clicking on the Project tile. At the top of the tile, you'll see the Opened Date and a Budget amount entered for the Project (if no budget was entered, you'll see $0 Budget). At the bottom of the tile, you'll see the total money received and total estimated price for the Project.

  • $ Received: Shows the total Cash Receipts recorded for the Project.

  • $ Total: Shows the total estimated price plus sales tax for all Items in a Project that are not inactive. You can see both of these amounts on the Client Status report under Reporting for the Client and Project by reviewing the total of the 2 columns Price and Sales Tax.

The Cash Flow section shows money received and spent for the selected Project in the upper right hand side. You can change the selection to see a different Project's cash flow. The list of Projects you can select from will contain both open and closed Projects.

  • Money In: Shows a comparison of total money received versus total amount for the Project selected. The dark green line represents total money received (all Cash Receipts) and the light green line represents the remaining estimated total price of all active Items. The $ Remaining displays the difference between the total money received versus total estimated price.

  • Money Out: Shows a comparison of total money paid to Vendors versus total estimated costs for the Project selected. The dark blue line represents total money paid to Vendors and the light blue line represents the remaining estimated costs of all active Items. The $ Remaining displays the difference between the total money paid versus total estimated cost.

The next section, Recently Clipped, shows any newly clipped Items. At the top of this section to the right, you can see a list of all your Clipped Items by clicking on the View all button.

The Resources section shows highlights from our Help Center such as tutorials and frequently asked questions. At the top of this section to the right, you can go to the Help Center by clicking on the View all button.

The last section, Suggest Improvements, allows you to send us an email with your ideas or feedback.

You can always go back to to Dashboard by clicking on DesignDashboard in the black navigation bar to the left.
