Accounting Settings

Learn how to setup default accounts for Sales, COGS, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

On the left side menu and under Settings, click on Accounting Settings

Add and/or edit accounts from the tabs at the top

Accounts: General Ledger accounts assigned to Sales, COGS, Payables, and Receivables. These have already been set up with standard accounts. Note: It is recommended to talk with your accounting professional before changing these

Fiscal Month: Set up your company's current fiscal month and enter your closed fiscal months. Note: If you need to change your fiscal year after accounting transactions have been entered, it is highly recommended that you contact Design Manager Customer Support for assistance, and as stated previously, you should talk with your accounting professional before making any changes to the current fiscal month

Accounts Receivable: Add or edit accounts. For example, your checking account

Accounts Payable: Add or edit accounts. For example, your credit card account
