The Product Clipper is a Google Chrome extension that you will need to install from the Google Chrome Web Store. The Product Clipper works with most web browser programs except for Safari. The Clipper is a browser extension aimed at helping users capture and store design-related items directly into the Design Manager application while seamlessly integrating with the platform. Note that it supports only the Google Chrome browser, ensuring compatibility and effective performance.
1. Click here to install the Product Clipper.
2. Click on Add to Chrome.
3. Click on Add extension.
4. Once completed, you will see the following message.
5. The Design Manager Product Clipper can be found by clicking on the puzzle piece in your browser bar.
It is recommended to 'pin' the Design Manager Product Clipper so it will show in your browser bar. To do this, click on the pin and you'll see the Design Manager logo in your browser bar.
Troubleshooting Chrome Extension Install If the extension is not working after installation, verify that you are signed into your Design Manager account and have granted the required permissions. Additionally, ensure that you are using the Google Chrome browser, as other browsers are not supported.
If the install link above does not work, you can go to the Chrome Web Store to download the extension.
Click into the "Search the store" field.
Type Design Manager into the search field.
Select the Design Manager Product Clipper Extension and continue with the install steps from above.
