New Feature Early Access Setting

Learn how to set your user to try out New Features before they are released

Written by Bobbie Combs

Early Access lets you try new Design Manager features before they're released to everyone. Turn it on in your User Settings, and you'll see new tools and improvements as soon as they're ready for testing.

It's a great fit if you like being first to try what's new, or if you want a say in how a feature works before it reaches every Design Manager user.

How to turn on Early Access

1. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the left-hand navigation.

2. Open User Settings.

3. Next to Early Access, check the box labeled 'Try new features before they are released to everyone'.

4. Click Save.

Early Access is a user setting, so it applies only to your own login. Teammates who want to try new features can turn it on in their own User Settings.

What to expect

Early Access features are still being refined, so keep a few things in mind:

  • Features may change. Layouts, names, and workflows can shift before the official release, often based on feedback from Early Access users

  • You may run into rough edges. Occasional bugs or unfinished details are part of testing

  • You can opt out anytime. If you'd rather stick with the standard experience, just turn Early Access off

How to turn off Early Access

Go back to Settings > User Settings, uncheck the Early Access box, and click Save. You'll return to the standard version of Design Manager.
