Learn how to use Quick Text to add remarks, special instructions and descriptions

Quick Text allows you to save and reuse common text snippets β€” including Client Proposal and Invoice remarks, vendor instructions on Purchase Orders, Item and Component descriptions, Vendor Invoice notes and any frequently used phrases.

Setting Up Quick Text

Before using Quick Text, you'll need to add your snippets to the Quick Text Glossary:

  1. In the left-side navigation, click the Settings icon in the bottom left corner.

  2. Select the Glossary tile, then click the Quick Text tab.

  3. Click the green Add button in the top right corner.

  4. Enter a unique 5-digit code for your snippet.

  5. Type the desired text, then click Save.

Using Quick Text

Once your snippets are saved, look for the Insert Quick Text icon in any text field across Design Manager to quickly insert your saved content.
