When creating a Client Invoice, you can preview the Invoice before posting to ensure accuracy. Should you find any mistakes, you can edit the Invoice and then post.

To preview an Invoice, first you'll need to create an Invoice and you can learn how to do that here. After the Invoice is created and before posting, in the New Client Invoices window, select the Invoice you want to preview and then click on Actions and select Preview.

A new internet browser tab will open to a PDF viewer to show the preview of the Invoice.

If the Invoice preview is correct and no edits are needed, then you can return to the Design Manager tab in your internet browser and then select Actions and click on Post. If you notice mistakes on the Invoice preview, you can return to the Design Manager tab in your internet browser and then click on the Temp. Inv. No. to make edits.

If the edit needs to be made to the Item, then in the Edit Invoice window, you can click on the Items Ref. No. to edit the item and return the Edit Invoice window.

When you are finished making the edits, click on Save and then you can preview the Invoice again to make sure the changes show correctly and Post when you are ready.

Posting the Invoice will permanently record the Invoice in your General Ledger Accounts.
